(Side note, whenever I would come to the end of the zipline I would come in backside first. My daughter commented about it and the guide said, "There's a physics reason for that, but you probably don't want to hear it." I already knew the reason . . .because my bottom half is heavier than my top half, as it has been since puberty hit a few decades ago. It's okay buddy, it's not news to me. But thanks for pretending to want to spare my feelings.)
Trying to remind myself to have an "attitude of gratitude" and get involved and do all the stuff I'm supposed to do. . .
So I am trying to get back into a rhythm where I feel happy doing the daily things. I need to attend PTA, meal plan, grocery shop, finish unpacking the stuff we shoved into the garage, use all the tomatoes that are growing in my garden to make salsa or something delicious, read with the kids, help them do the homework, walk the dog, keep up on the laundry, log my food, exercise, drink water, go to bed, etc. No big deal . . . I got this. Waaaa (Inside voice whining . . .)
And this week I'm expected to do all that without any chemical boosts for help, eh? Well we'll just see how motivating those 10 points are. Hopefully motivating enough, hopefully.
(Yay, school's back in session . . . no sarcasm intended.)
