I actually I really enjoyed the challenge last week. It was really hard but it made me realize how much of a creature of habit I am. Eat dinner, then snack, and snack... oh and then we have to have a treat before bed! Haha. This weeks challenege actually seems really fun. Also, I got full points last week. Something I only dreamed of doing honestly!

Week 4 Challenge

I didn't think that not eating after I had my last meal was going to be so hard! Between the tempations of everything that is in our fridge and the "water doesn't taste good after 7" thoughts..I struggled with this challenge. Although it did help me to rethink my habits and when am I going to spend the time to stop eating since that's all I do now haha. I think that I finally felt a lot more comfortable with it after about friday night.

This week will be good to change things up since I get into the same old routines. One thing i'm excited to start mixing into my work outs are sprints. Now I am pretty sure that they are reserved for people who are borderline criminals, but going to see how they improve my work outs
I posted yesterday but I just logged my points and figured I could post now before I forget. I really liked last weeks challenge. It was hard. I’ve been trying not to eat my late night snacks and that helped motivate me.
I hurt my knee a few weeks ago playing basketball. Actually I re-injured it, and have a couple other times the last few years, from an injury three years ago. Anyway, that’s another story. I’ve been walking and swimming for my exercise. This week I’m going to try and bike or maybe do a short run.
Good luck to everyone. I hope you’re doing well. It’s nice doing something like this with a group of people

so early

It’s almost 5 am, I’m getting ready for the gym, but really just want to go back to bed. I logged my points and figure I might get the blog done since I’m thinking of it. I’ve saved some good exercises for arms and abs that I’m excited to try. I found them a while ago, but always think I’ll do them tomorrow. So this is the week that I am forced to make tomorrow come! Good luck this week everyone. I better get moving before I fall asleep where I sit.

Not stellar is not equal to failure

Even though . . . I didn’t get an amazing points total this week and part of me wants to throw in the towel-I took some time today and made myself accountable for what I did and didn’t do. I feel happy that because I am logging food most days and working to fit in a good amount of sweat inducing exercise-progress is happening.

Last week I only weighed and didn’t measure. Tonight I made sure to measure and I have lost a few inches!

I’ll keep going. We can all just keep plugging along!

Moderation

One thing I really like about this challenge is that it helps me make realistic habits that I should be able to maintain long term.  I like that the group challenge is only 5/7 days so I didn’t feel guilty about enjoying cookies at my book club this week, or having some popcorn one night watching a movie.  I also like having one day a week off from logging food for a mental break.  I haven’t seen a lot of results as far as inches or weight goes at this point.  Usually in the past I have and that has kept me motivated to continue.  So for now I’m just trying to be okay with feeling better in general when I’m making small steps to be healthier, and not getting as caught up with the scale.

State Choir

It turned out to be a pretty fun week! With our chamber choir state mini-tour, we went to Boondocks (an arcade type place), sang at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, and went to a UVU Opera! It was fantastic! I finally got to know people that I have had a class with all year, and grew quite fond of many of them! Shopping at the mall was also super fun! It's hard living three hours away from the nearest one. Being away for three days kinda made my eating fail, but I am back on track for next week and ready to relax.

Noticing

This week was not my greatest success because my play opened, and I have been out all night every night. Luckily, there's a lot of dancing in the show, so I got at least 30 minutes of exercise almost everyday, but I definitely lost out on a lot of sleep...
This week I have finally started to really notice my progress, my bras are starting to feel a little roomy, and the waist on pants are a bit big. This is good. I feel healthier and happier, but it is a bummer that I might have to get some new clothes. I also have to pee a lot. When you're drinking at least 64 oz of water a day there is a difference.

Goin good.

Things went a lot better this week despite being so busy. I started doing yoga for exercise which isn't as intense as I would like but its helped to keep my foot from swelling and stretched a lot of tight muscles from limping and stuff. I was able to accomplish pretty much every aspect of the challenge this week and get most of the points which I'm very proud of. Losing the weight hasn't been fast, maybe a pound or so a week but for once I haven't just starved myself. I think if I can continue the way things are going and continue to change habits that this will help me to sustain even after the challenge is over.

Putting things off

Wow just realized it's Sunday at 10 pm cutting it close for my blogging. This week has been crazy busy for me. I struggled making it to the gym all 5 days, I missed two of the five I kept finding myself say tomorrow, tomorrow.  My goal this next week is to not miss a day. Wish me luck.

Shared Experiences

As I’m catching up on the weekly posts, I kept saying “uh me too.”  So started a new job this week and the struggle is real! Just getting a new normal that revolves around healthy habits has been a constant choice. From the new cafeteria and a new route to walk. Plus, I almost forgot to blog this week but realized as I was rallying my points! Anyways love the community this adds.

Sore

You’re probably thinking that I’m sore from exercising! Maybe so, but this week I got a huge canker sore on my tongue. I was a better eater because it hurt when I ate anything!  But somehow I still managed to fail the challenge. Ha!  I’m down to do better this week.
Lori
Last day to blog. I cut it close this time. I’ve had a pretty good week. I was hoping to see more results by this time but at least there are some results. I’ll take it!

I could easily quit... but I'm not going to

I got LAZY this week! I just didn't care that much about logging food and drinking water and exercising... so like everything. My points are itty bitty this week... which is why I had to get on and blog... I need the points haha.
I have been doing a lot around my house this week... so I have a two month old... a potty training toddler... and now I am renovating my house. So yeah, the fitness thing took a back seat.
My personal goal for next week is the water thing. It is so hard for me to drink that much water but I think it will help with everything else. It is a constant reminder to choose healthy instead of lazy.

Bree

The struggle is real!

So I started this challenge at the same time I started a new job. I am finding it much harder to get to the gym everyday and still complete all my mom duties. This challenge is helping me push for a healthy balance instead of giving in to the easier path of keeping my spot on the couch warm.. So with that thank you putting this together :-)
So, as I’m trying to decide about what to post, I’m thinking about my week... and I’m just coming up with excuses!!! I’m going to do better!!! My body deserves it! Great job to everyone who’s still pushing through!

3 weeks down

Hope everyone is happy with their results 3 weeks in.

Saturday, April 28, 2018

I am not very good at blogging. lol It has been a busy week and I havent had a change yet.  But I'm determined to get all my points this week.  (even if I have to eat cans of veggies to do it!)

Wholesome brownies

I help serve school lunch at the high school I teach at. Today they served wholesome brownies... what is that???? I just made up my mind that means there gross... I guess from now on all deserts are wholesome!

Zzzzzzzz

So far avoiding the late night snacks has been easy. Waking up at 4:30 am to get my work out in before work makes it so I’m ready for bed once the kids are in bed. I’m too tired to stay up and enjoy my “yea the kids are in bed!” bowl of ice cream.

Wednesday, April 25, 2018

It is absolutely amazing (albeit embarrassing) how hungry I am when I don't eat after dinner. Am I really that addicted to food? This week I signed up with vasa and I've been going for about an hour or more every night. It' doesn't seem like a lot, but it is for me. The whole "working out at home" thing doesn't really work for me with kids. Kudos to those parents who make it work! I am determined to actually get more than 1-2 points for the exercise this week! :)

Midnight Snacks...

This week has been a good reminder of how much food I ate after dinner before starting this contest. It is easy to see how a couple minutes in the fridge or the snack cupboard can erase an entire day of conscious eating. It is also probably the worst time to be eating too. Good think this week I can at least have a gallon of Diet dew to soothe my growling tummy! More than a third of the way done already! Keep it up.

Week 3

I have really been loving the challenges so far. It has been great motivation to do what I know I should already be doing. I am especially excited for this week. Not necessarily because I snack a ton at night, but more because I have found with my body, it responds best to having dinner before 8 pm if possible and not eating after that. So hopefully I can see even more results this week! Good luck everyone!

Week 3 challenge

This last week's challenge wasn't too difficult since i'm not a big soda drinker anyway. I did pretty well with the challenge, but last night found myself struggling with this weeks challenge of not eating after dinner. before bed snacking is possibly my favorite thing to do since its so easy to justify the little treats here or there. I gotta keep telling myself that it'll be worth it.

Week 2 Challenge vs Week 3 Challenge

It's interesting and funny how everyone is so different. The week 2 challenge was perfect for me in the sense that it was easy because I'm not a big soda drinker but it sounds like it was really hard for quite a few. Whereas, this week's challenge is going to be really hard for me and maybe not so hard for a lot of other people b/c I'm a big time snacker when the kids are in bed which I know is not great and is usually what puts me over my calories intake EVERY SINGLE time. So, yes it will be hard, but it will be a good challenge for me to knock that habit out or at least slow it down :)

UGH

Well I sure haven't done as well as I thought I would. In fact I have debated whether or not to just quit a few times but I have decided to give it another try. Week 1 I only earned 60 points and week 2 I only earned 42. I am putting it out there for all to see that my goal this week is 75 points. Maybe this way I will be more motivated to meet my goal.

The Struggle Is Real

This week was challenging in ways that I didn't expect. My foot injury has proven to be a difficult hurdle to overcome when it comes to the workout portion of the challenge. There is only so much upper body workouts I can do! I have the desire to run and jump and play sports. I need the cardio but my foot keeps me from being able to get a good solid work out that is actually enjoyable as I also lose motivation through normal machine workouts. Soooo....this week I failed a little bit on that end. Which then made me lose motivation to eat well. Luckily drinking water is easy for me and I'm not a dependent soda drinker although I do love it. I was able to talk to some family about my foot frustrations and they gave me some good ideas on some workouts that would be low impact on my injury. I'm hoping I can get a better routine this week and find some things that will effectively help me to get the exercise I need and motivate me to eat right.

If anyone has any suggestions for workouts with limited use of the calf muscle (nothing including jumping or running) please comment below. I'd love to get some ideas.

Mack

Week 2

This week I had an out of town choir competition trip and I was not home for two meals. While all my friends were getting Jamba Juice and soda pop with their meals, I just stuck with my ice cold water! Also, I had a difficult time finding healthy meals and snacks while on the go. It was tough, but not impossible! By the end of that day, my eating had been pretty successful.  Also, my choir ended up being 1/2 a point away from going to state, that was a little disappointing. But now I have more time to prepare for the competition coming up this next week! Wish us luck!

The struggle....

This week was really difficult for me. I have an addition it is diet Dr. Pepper. I last 1 day without it so I must confess I didn't complete the group challenge.  Friday I went to Spokane with my daughter, there was a lot of eating out and junk food. This next week will be to be better. I promise.

Cheers!

Its been interesting this week. I've was doing really good with the soda, but I got sick on Thursday, so that was my first day where I didn't do the group challenge. I needed the calories and nothing was appetizing. Then on Friday I had some because we were having a Birthday Party. Weirdly enough, the two days since then have been really hard. I was fine Monday-Wednesday, but I would kill for a refreshing Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm going to be honest, I am so glad that this challenge was this week, and not next week. I'm in a play, and its opening this week. For those of you who've done theater before you that opening weeks means excruciatingly long, and tiresome rehearsals. Did I also mention that we're doing state testing and all of my classes are giving out projects? I guess soda is a little something to look forward to everyday, but I know I'm not going to drink it as much after this weeks challenge. Unfortunately, I don't think giving it up will happen.
I also thought was doing pretty good on the healthy food all week until yesterday I had pizza for lunch and burgers and fries for dinner... Splurging is fine right? But then I wonder, is all of the hard work I'm doing going to nought because of one or two off day? It's a hard balance, and we all have to find what works for us, and I'm still looking.
Raise a glass of Diet Soda to a new week, and a new challenge! Hope its a good one!

Diet Coke

My name is Lori and I am a Diet Cokeoholic.   Last Sunday I had made my mind up I wasn’t doing the challenge. But by Monday morning I had changed my mind and thought I can do anything for five days.  The hardest part was not going through the drive-through at McDonald’s every time I drove by it I just wanted a Diet Coke.  Saturday morning my daughter asked if I’d like a Diet Coke. She was at Maverick and said she would bring me one, so of course I said yes. When I took a big drink it just didn’t taste as good as it used to.  I still think I’ll drink pop but maybe more water than I used to.

Hello

Week 2 has been hard, I am pop drinker and to give it up is rough but drinking water has helped! So I’m going to try really hard for week 3! I have been doing so much better with drinking my water! Definitely been wanting to drink water more then pop this week!

New baby and sick baby

What a week! Totally killed the challenge as I don't really care for pop or flavored drinks... except for chocolate milk... which I haven't had for weeks but of course I was craving it like crazy this week. My sister had a baby, so I share a niece now with Stephanie. And my 8 week old is sick, like throwing up every other feeding and diarrhea for the last 4 days... so laundry, and stress and lots more laundry!

I went to a circuit training gym this week and now I am incredibly sore. But, it was a great work out and I have a free membership for two weeks.

Briana

PS. How in the heck do you drink 64 oz of water in 24 hours... by far the hardest thing to do for me.

Popcorn Flavored Ice Cream

I found this popcorn flavored ice cream this week.  It's low on calories and it tastes like burnt popcorn so you won't eat too much.

I couldn’t do it!

Guys! I couldn’t commit to kicking my caffeine addiction! ☹️ My baby is 6 months old and still nurses every two hours at night. Good thing she is adorable. Hope everyone is doing well!

Patience!

I was a little frustrated by the scale this week.  I’ve stayed in my low calorie goal and exercised and hoped for the best!  I know with my body the food choices are more important than calories...but I hoped somehow this time would be different.  Trying again next week with better food choices, less empty calories and more veggies!  Is losing weight a mind game for anyone else too?!

Eating out!

This was my last week at my current job and did not anticipate the generosity of coworkers that meant lunch out almost every day. We don’t usually have soda at home but I do get a Diet Coke at restaurants. So long story short I totally bombed the challenge this week. However, I did stay within my calories for the week again (personal goal.)

Friday, April 20, 2018

Things are going pretty well. I really wanted full points last week but missed an exercise day. I’m hoping to get all my points this week. Drinking soda/sugar drinks isn’t my problem…I like soda but I can stay off it. I’m dreading the no sweets only healthy snacks week. Maybe we shouldn’t do that one 😉

46 minutes

This morning my workout was 46 minutes...as I was sitting here debating whether that counts as 50 or not, my neighbor stopped and ask me to walk with her...46 just became 76! Guess there is no question that’s at least 50.

Week 2 goals

I wanted to set some 8 week fitness goals for myself, in addition to the other goals of the challenge. I've always wanted to be able to bench press my body weight. I don't bench press often. Luckily, this goal can be approached from both adding strength and also dropping weight. I have written an incremental goal with my lifting coach that will target this 8 week program. Game on!🏋️
With this weeks challenge, I wanted to share what's helping me to drink water and not crystal light or Soda. I have cut back on how much soda I have been drinking recently, so it made it a little easier for this challenge. I am a picky water drinker. It has to be ICE cold, and I have to add lemon or lime. Well, that's not always easy to keep on hand, or have when you are out and about. So my best friend this week are these packets. They are crystallized lime/lemon. Perfect to keep in my purse and add to my water no matter where I am. Good luck everyone!

Dr Pepper

I find that when I’m stressed out I drink...drink Dr Pepper that is. I look forward to happy hour at my favorite drink place. No diet stuff for me. I go full strength, regular Dr Pepper, with some Vanilla. Yum! This is always the challenge I dread, but so far, getting my work outs in has kept my stress leave manageable and I’m not reaching for the delicious red can of 23 flavors that make up Dr Pepper. I’m also thankful, that we only have to do this 5/7 of the days. Good luck everyone! Your drink will be waiting for you on the other side of this week!

The prize this week was a $10 Amazon gift card.  There were 23 people in the drawing!

My apologies in advance for tonight's video.  My computer crashed leaving me without my video editing software.  I mostly regret that I recorded this AFTER my workout.

Drink question

So I usually only drink water or milk anyway but I've started drinking flavored seltzer water, although I don't like any artificial sweeteners so I'm careful to check most of the time. So for the challenge this week do I need to avoid the seltzer waters like La Croix? The article was insightful about the draw backs of carbonation, so I'll probably skip on it anyway and go back to my old ways of just water or milk, but I wanted to throw it out there to get people's opinions and get my blog points for this week ;)

Hey I'm Mack

I'm 23 and just graduated from BYUI in recreation management. I've always been very active and athletic but struggled with weight loss and gain throughout my life. I returned from my mission in Arizona last summer and I've been wanting to work off the extra weight I got from eating so much mexican food. In January I ruptured my achilles tendon playing volleyball. Its been a long recovery after surgery to repair the tendon and then 6 weeks on a knee scooter and 6 weeks in a walking boot. I was just cleared last week to walk without the boot and graduated PT and man do I have the itch to be active again! It's been hard to find workouts to cater to my foot as I can't run or jump at all but at the least this journey has taught me to not take my legs for granted. I'm building strength and mobility every day and I'm determined to get back to sports as soon as I can. I'm hoping that this will help me work towards the goals that I have for myself.

Starting Week2

I forgot that when you count calories you can't find anything that is a "negative" calorie. i feel like things that are celery, lettuce, and oreo's should be counted as a negative calorie so that you can feel better about the things that you have eaten throughout the week. My eating was a little rough the first 2 days, but I still did enough to make the challenge. I was shooting for about 2,200 calories and discovered that the start of the week with the stress of last minute assignments due, I struggled this last week with it.

Starting strong with week 2 though and cutting out sugary drinks for this week. I don't think i'll have too rough a time with this challenge since all i drink is: water, Milk, Zipfizz (0 sugar :)), and that's about it. Powerade and Gatorade will be tough, but I don't think it'll be too bad to not drink for a week. Thankfully i'm doing this with my wife so that she can keep an eye on me as i go into all out stress mode for finals and finishing the semester.

Beautiful

Hi, my name is Margaret! My mom is Heather, and we're doing this challenge together. I'm 15, and I've always felt pretty comfortable in my skin. I know that I'm beautiful no matter the weight on the scale. I'm not looking to fit in a size 2 like half the girls I go to school with, I just want to be healthy. I know that all my choices aren't stellar examples of health, so I decided that this challenge would be a great way to stay motivated, and follow through. I've tried doing it by myself 2 or 3 times, and it lasted... 3 weeks at most?
I know Stephanie because she's friends with my mom, so I've known her and her boys for awhile. I was their babysitter before they moved from Greeley. I love them all.
I know that most of you are doing this for different reasons than me, and that's awesome! I just love this because we all want to be healthy together. We have the goal to have a healthy lifestyle, and thats all we need to do. We're all beautiful, and we're doing the best we can, so no matter how many points you get a week... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

Hi! I'm Sydney!

I'm 17 from Utah and ready to get healthy for the summer!

Yippee

Hello! I finally made it onto the blog! Let’s get healthy🥗

Hello

My name is Sara Anderson. Steph is my cousin and I've done about 3 or more of her challenges. I live in Vernal, UT. I'm married to Brock and I have 2 dogs that are for now my children. I'm excited to get going with this much needed healthy lifestyle change.
This is my first time trying a challenge like this. I didn't so very well this first week but I plan to do better this week. Thanks for doing this Steph.

Life is crazy!

I’m sure all of you have felt that before! Sometimes I’m up for these challenges and sometimes I’m not. My mantra is often, “Will it help or hurt?” If life is already crazy sometimes adding one more
thing puts me over the edge and hurts. And then other times, like right now, having a little Control over Something I know Will Help in the long run helps A LOT!

My name is Heather. Stephanie and I met in a Greeley and served in church together. I was lucky enough to benefit from Stephanie’s mad party planning skills!

We've Recently had HUGE and surprising life changes. So really being mindful and taking care of myself has taken a back seat. I am still 30 pounds over weight from my last baby (he’s 20 months). He’s my fifth and final baby. Pregnancy and recovery were extra challenging with him-partly because I’m in my 40’s. He’s totally worth it! However, I’m ready to wave goodbye to these extra pounds.

Looking forward to several more great weeks!

Hi all!

This is my 3rd challenge with Steph, maybe 2nd I don’t know. The last one we did I found out I was pregnant so I don’t think I did it.. anyways, I am determined to lose this baby weight! I’ve done okay the first week.. next week looks SO hard for the group challenge. Funny that you posted about Diet Coke because that’s my drink of choice! Even if I can minimize my intake I’d say that’s a win for me.. I’ll try!  😂

Slow start but I'm ready

We got back from Spring Break late so I've had a slow start to getting started but after 5 kids I'm ready to put in the work to rid of these 25 lbs that are not just falling off ;)
Hey new friends..... I am excited to complete this adventure along side each of you. I recently lost 20 lbs to prepare for a cruise we went on in February. I feel like I have hit a plateau and am hoping this will push me down the few more pounds I hope to loose... Lets do this!!!!!

Friday, April 13, 2018

I’m so excited to be here! I love Steph, and have known her for...3/4ish years? Our Hubbies were both in residency in Colorado at the same time.
I’m a stay at home mama of 4 kiddos, 7,6,3 and 6 months. I love theater and being silly. I live in a tiny town of 1400 people, in the middle of South Dakota. Brr! I love food!!! That’s why I’m here. Plus my body needs me to rededicate myself to a healthier lifestyle. It’s hard. I’m so glad we have a big group to do the challenge with! Hopefully I will learn a lot from everyone!
Anyone out there doing Paleo or Keto?

Introductions

Hello! My name is Artesia and this is my second challenge with Stephanie! The first one I did I lost 15lbs. This is totally the motivation I need. My husband and I have 6 kids, ages 12 stair step down to 10 months.  I am a weirdly competitive person or should I say competitive about weird things. So being healthy is way more fun if points are assigned to things I should be already doing! Excited to meet everyone. Also, after 6 babies my non scale victory is for strangers to stop asking when my baby is due.

Hi- my name is Laurie. I am a little bit of a competitive person ( I guess growing up with 4 brothers will do that to you). I am so excited for this challenge. Thanks Stephanie for putting it together!

Looking Forward to this

Thanks for putting this on Stumps I need to get back into my size skinny britches.
I have really been struggling with my weight! I cant wait to feel more like myself again. I don't even recognize myself!!  I'm really hoping this challenge can get me motivated.
Hi all!

I'm Colleen and Stephanie is my amazing niece.  I'm excited to do this challenge and hoping having to be accountable will help me stick to it.  :)

Week 1

My name is James. My motivation for this challenge is to slim down for an upcoming motorcycle race on June 2. The race is the Idaho City 100 and is a enduro motorcross race that travels through some of Idaho's steepest mountains on tight trails. It is grueling and most wont be able to finish. Dropping a few lbs will certainly help. Good luck!

And here we go...

Hi, my name is Bree and this is not my first challenge but it is the first challenge that I will participate longer than a week. The I found out I was pregnant a week into it and quit shortly after that. Now my baby is 7 weeks old and I am determined not to "let myself go".

I have two kids, Hudson- 7 weeks and Ruby- 2 1/2 years. My hands are full... and I decided to start potty training this week... so I'm exhausted.

I know full well that I will not get perfect scores every week... but I want to just keep trying. I need the motivation.

If anyone has any amazing potty training tips... they are welcome.

Bree

Let's do it!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Katelyn Smith! I met Stephanie when they moved to Pueblo Colorado. And I miss them lots!

I'm a mother of one little girl who is a HANDFUL! I also work from home as a piano teacher! I was able to teach Stephanie's oldest for about a year and a half! I currently am teaching 26 students and getting ready for a recital! :)

I've been going through a weight loss journey by myself for sometime and have already lost a total of 16 lbs. I really want to keep motivated so I'm so glad that Stephanie decided to do this again! The only bummer is this week I was hit down with a nasty cold that has turned into a bit of bronchitis so I haven't been on my game this week but I hope to be able to have good weeks afterwards! I look forward to this journey!

Hi Im Whitney!

Hello,

I'm Whitney Frandsen and Stephanie is my cousin. I thought she was so cool when we were growing up and wanted to be just like her.

I love to exercise and be outdoors. I am so ready for warm weather and excited for an adventure filled summer. I find comfort in food and am looking to reign in my eating habits. I am glad to share this journey with everyone.

Sarah

Hey, my name is Sarah. Stephanie is my soul sister 🙃. I’ve done these challenges before. Some have been successful and others not so much. I’m feeling motivated and I’m hoping to see some changes. My husband and I have 4 kiddos. Three boys and one girl. I’m excited for the challenge! Let’s do this!
Hello my name is Brenda I grew up with Stephanie. I am so excited for this journey. This is my third time, the 1st time I was very successful and proud of myself the second time not so much.  I am a mother of two crazy teens and I am married to the most amazing person I have ever met. I am excited for this journey in hopes to gain back my confidence and just be a healthier mother and wife

my time

I need to make some serious changes in my physical health. I’ve left lack of sleep because of children and various family health issues hold me back. But this weekend both my kids mastered riding bikes and I suddenly felt a new freedom and control over my health. Alarm is at the other end of my room so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. I’m taking back my hour of me time in the morning. Yes it means waking up before everyone else gets up, but it’s time to focus on myself. Watch out people, I can wake up in the morning but it doesn’t mean I can be pleasant!

Week 1

Hey! My name is Sadie. This is my first challenge with Stephanie. Hopefully I can stick to it out for the whole eight weeks. I have four kiddos. Three loud and crazy boys ages 11, 9, and 3 and we just had our little girl 2 months ago :) My husband is out of town quite a bit for work and I am a semi stay at home momma. Good luck everyone!!

Jenni checking in!!

Just checking in! Excited to do another challenge since life is such a challenge. My goal is to get healthy for the summer! According to my correlation causation lesson most people lose 5-10 pounds in the summer...ice cream sales also increase... so the real question is... Is ice cream a diet food??

Week 1 - Cameron Winkley

Thank you for Stephanie for sending out the email to do this challenge. I forwarded it to my wife Kiersten and she was excited about it. .I think this will be a good challenge and help remind me of things that aren't the best to eat (like the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies). I live in Taylorsville, UT with my wife Kiersten. We have two kids, Harper who's 3 and Riley who is 5 months old, between school, work, and Family I am pretty busy, but I am excited that this is something Kiersten and I can do together.

Stephanie Signing In

Thanks to everyone for signing up for these next 8 weeks with me!  I'm hoping we have a fun and healthy couple of months.  I was doing pretty good meeting my weight loss and fitness goals last fall, and then the holidays came, and a big move for our family to Idaho, and I've been having a hard time feeling super motivated to get back on track.  I'm hoping the accountability of this challenge will give me the boost I need.

I live in Middleton, Idaho.  I have 4 wonderful kids and a great husband that I'd like to be able to keep up with!  Good luck to everyone!
