I have a challenge for everyone.

In January I had a friend start a fitness challenge.  She lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks.  I didn't think it was very healthy but good for her right. I didn't lose 20 in this 8 week challenge but I did lose. 
Last week I ran into the friend again.  She said it had been 8 weeks since she ended the challenge and she has gained 20 plus 4 more!!

My challenge is to not gain it all back by the fall challenge.


We made it to the end of another's been good but I am glad to be done for a while!!

Wheel lines

In case anyone as wondering moving wheel lines is quite the workout. Steve and I have been moving eight of them twice a day for the week and will continue all summer. Steve finds it very relaxing walking through the fields and after getting over all the frustrations I am starting to too.

Another One Bites the Dust!

So, I was all pumped to do this weekly group challenge...and wrote all my goals down.  Then I baked a chocolate cake?!  So, thanks to my chocolate cake baking skills, I lost the group challenge!  Boo!
But I'm glad I was able to finish strong regardless!

I can't believe it's the end of another challenge! Thank you Stephanie for all the hard work you put into these every time!  Again, I didn't lose as much as I wanted. I have also been focusing a lot on lifting weights and strength training the past month and when I do this I always feel toned and good, but I usually don't lose much weight, sometimes I gain. And I have to remind myself that  muscle weighs more than fat but it takes up less space. I am ready to enjoy not counting  every little calorie but I know I will also keep up my exercising because I love it!

Week 7 Results and Prize Winner

The final weigh-in is tomorrow!!!  So I'm getting these Week 7 Results posted just in time.  I'm sorry for being late this time around on the weekly posts, I knew this month would be insanely busy for our little family coming into this, but it's been a little more stress than I had I apologize that my facilitator duties were a bit neglected.

This week's prize video was supposed to be an awesome 80's music video to the tune of "I'm so excited"...mostly because I'm so excited this challenge is over!  But our computer is choosing not to here are a few still shots of the prize winner.

I was a little surprised by how fast the last few weeks of the challenge went. I can say that I don't mind exercising 5 days a week now. A little progress at a time... Good work everyone!!

Just a Few More Days

Thank you to everyone who has participated this go round!  I started these challenges the end of September...9 months ago with only a few breaks in between!  Thanks to everyone for keeping me motivated.

I hope you all enjoy a healthy, fit summer...and that you are ready in a few months to "FALL" back into good habits.  I'll keep you all posted on coming challenges this fall.

The end of another challenge.

Every time I come to the end of one of these challenges I have not hit my goals but I have lost....YEAH!!

Every time I come to the end of one of these challenges I ask myself...what am I going to do with out Steph's weekly videos....

 Then she starts again. I know she wants to take a break so she can move..
Which is Okay....
 but I will be ready whenever everybody else is to lose some weight ...

Thanks to Stephanie for running the CHALLENGE!!!!!  Thanks to the Grandkids for the Great Videos!!!!  THANKS TO EVERYONE for the encouragement!  I was able to eat a few really high calorie desserts (on a couple of my high will power weeks) and still lose a few pounds.  A pound a week - that's all we ask!
