Introducing Leisel

Hi I am Leisel and I am a sugar and snacks-oholic. I have 5 kids ages 10 to 18 months. I am a stay at home mom, homeschooler, and project dabbler. I have a hard time setting my self as any kind of priority, and I am struggling with self image, the stresses of life and lack of time. I have had great success with these challenges in the past and I am looking forward to stating again. I need the motivation and challenge of being in a group competition.

I'm Cameron Winkley

Hi! I am Cameron Winkley and my wife is Stephanie's cousin. This is the first fitness group I have participated in and I am looking forward to the next 9 weeks. I am usually pretty active and try to find things I can do to stay active. I love running and have ran in two Ragnar Relay's here in Utah. The Wasatch Back with a team from my work. I have ran a few 5k's as well. My wife Kiersten and I have a 2 year old daughter named Harper and she is a pretty awesome little girl.we have been married for almost 5 years and have known each other since middle school.  I go to school almost full time, currently work in IT and hope to graduate with my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. This should be a lot of fun!

I'm Heather & I'm ready to Rumble!

Well, kind of . . .I have a six-month old and I am nursing, so I'm not too worried about losing weight at the moment, because this is my 5th baby I know that while nursing, losing weight is not a top priority for my body. However, I am ready to get back to work on some of the healthy habits I have let slide. Like logging my food and making healthier choices with my diet. I held on to my workout habits pretty well through the pregnancy and I, also am training for a triathlon in August with Elise! I'm excited to help my body get ready for that, not only by exercising, but also by feeding it right!

Like I said, my recent baby is my 5th. I have four other kids 13, 11, 9, and 5. I love to be healthy and strong so we can run races together, take challenging hikes, play at the park without getting winded, and I also like to be able to outrun them all in tag! I live in Greeley, Colorado and miss Stephanie, who is the bomb.com!

I also love to cook and enjoy doing the fitness challenges because it helps me find new recipes to add to the repertoire.

Excited there's such a big group participating so we can help each other. Let's do this!!

Hello

Hi everyone!
My name is Katie. My husband and I live in Utah with our kids that are 12. 9, 6 and 2. I'm really excited about this challenge. I have done these challenges with Stephanie before and I've been successful. This was good timing for me to start another one. I'm really consistent about exercising and really love it. But at times with having kiddos and running all around I don't pay attention to the food side of things as much as I'd like to. And I know that's the key for me to lose the weight. My goals for this go around are not eating after 7pm and losing 20lbs.
Good luck to everyone with your goals!

Introducing Leigh

Hello everyone!
I'm Leigh Hunter and I'm a friend of Stephanie's from Pueblo West.  I am really excited to be a part of this group since I'm always motivated by bribes and friendly competition!
I have four kids that range from 17 to 9 years old.  Most of my time is spent running around, often grabbing easy food and putting off working out! So I'm looking forward to getting back to tracking my meals and working out again.  I love to ski, travel and read.  Hopefully this challenge will add some extra energy and joy in those activities and life in general.  I have two nephews' weddings this summer and an amazing trip with my husband, so I want to fully enjoy all these photo worthy events without worry.  I'm not sure what my overall goal is with weight, more to look and feel good in my favorite clothes again! Good luck and good night

Introducing Nikki

Hi my name is Nikki. I am in the same ward as Stephanie and do a book club with her. I'm a mom of 5 kids 17, 15, 10, 7, and 5. On top of that I work full time as an Ultrasound Tech at a hospital so most weeks I work way more than 40 hours a week. I have struggled my whole adult life with weight and never loose very fast. I struggle with finding time to exercise in my crazy busy life too. I haven't come up with an overall goal yet but I made my goal for the week to drink at least 64oz of water a day. I also want to get back on track with my eating cause I know I feel better when I'm eating right.

Introducing Elise

Hello all! I'm a veteran of Stephanie's challenges and can NOT wait to get this one going! Ever since her sweet angel baby was born I've been waiting for the email saying she would be starting a competition!!! :)
I'm not going to lie - weighing in this morning and measuring myself was a very humbling experience. I am disappointed in my current health state - and there are many excuses and reasons for where I am - but all I can do is move forward from here!
I'm VERY excited to read all the intros and get to know everyone! My goal for the competition is to NOT QUIT! I MUST stick it out the entire time! I also aspire to high points and low numbers on the scale - big surprise there, right?!
I currently live in Utah, but my friendship with Stephanie began in Greeley, Colorado. I quickly discovered she is one of the most talented and creative people on the planet and I count myself lucky knowing her! I have 4 children ages 11, 9, 7 and 5. After my youngest was born I got down to the smallest size I have ever been as an adult! THEN....as the years went on....every pound crept back on. We have had an interesting and quite stressful couple of years in our family, and I have NOT put healthy eating as a priority....thus....extra pounds and sadness.
I plan to participate in a triathlon the end of August, so many of my work outs will be centered around that as a goal. I LOVE having events to train for, and people to cheer on! I'm excited to begin (yet again) this weight loss journey. I am determined I will see it through and see the finish strong (and a little thinner!).

BRENDA

Hello my name is Brenda I was fortunate enough to grow up with Stephanie. I am so excited for this 9 week journey. I am a mother of two amazing kids ( who offen drive me nuts) and I am married to the most amazing person I have ever met. I am excited for this journey in hopes to gain back my confidence and just be a healthier mother and wife. My goal is to loose 15 pounds. (Girl scouts just delivered my cookies) the temptations have begun.

Heavy Sledding

My name is James. I have done 2 challenges in the past. I had a good effort in the first. However, i was severely hindered after the birth of my first child for the second challenge. He likes chocolate, so do I. This winter I have felt my extremely high-powered snowmobile struggle to pull me up hills that it once did with ease. There are no more additional performance parts that can be installed to increase power. The only variable I can change is the rider's body weight...that why i'm here. and because i'm chubbier than i should be and feel like a slug. Good luck. When the sledding gets tough, just close your eyes and grab full throttle. or something like that.

Erica 101

Hi, I'm Erica. I'm new to trying out any sort of weight loss, fitness, or healthy habit program. I am not a big fan of exercising, I love food, and I'm a full time mom with a part time job. But as I'm getting older I can feel how much better I feel when I move and strengthen my muscles. I'm hoping this will help me get into better habits for sure. Hoping to rebuild muscle in my arms and shoulders and strengthen my back. My goal is to lose 10 lbs, but I want to build muscle so we will see what happens. LETS DO THIS!

Introducing Sarah Carothers

Ok Stephanie that worked!! Thank you I'm technologically challenged! So my name is Sarah Carothers. I live in pueblo west with my husband three kids and a dog. My kids go to school with Stephanie's at Cedar Ridge. I am so glad and excited for this Spring Challenge. My goal is to lose 20lbs. I am hoping to create a more routine habit of exercising and eating healthy which are my 2 biggest obstacles. I had c sections with my 3 babies and so I feel like I was in such pain after each one that I babied myself too much and didn't exercise soon enough. So I have 3 babies worth of weight to lose. Good luck to everyone! Here is my before picture. Thank you!!!

Introducing Stephanie

I'm lucky enough to know most of you, thank you all so much for joining me in this challenge.  My name is Stephanie, I live in Pueblo, Colorado and am a mom to 4 cute kids.  I'm hoping this little competition gives me the motivation to start working out again and eating healthier.  Not working out during my pregnancy and then having a c-section in October has left me feeling pretty weak.  I'm excited to get stronger.  I plan to be very sore for the next several weeks.

My goal for this challenge is to lose 20 pounds, and hopefully be able to fit into some of my jeans again.  My best advice for everyone is to not give up, remember there are no short cuts.
I'm going to call this my "before" picture
I hope you will all introduce yourselves and share some of your goals for the challenge!  Good luck to everyone!
