Non-weight loss victories

Stephanie did a post during the last challenge about non-scale victories that I thought about this weekend.  I have been running on the treadmill in the garage late at night.  It gets pretty boring out there staring at the wall, but I run my little heart out doing intervals and working on challenging myself.  On Saturday, it was sunny and nice so I ran outside for the first time since October.  Normally three miles would be a lot for me and I would want to walk half way through.  Yesterday, I easily ran 4 miles, felt awesome, ran one mile uphill, took no breaks, and could have easily taken on another mile or two.  Yay for progress!

  2. Nice LauriAnn!
That's the best kind of progress. I still dislike running with a passion, but was happy to see I can run a mile now without feeling too much like death.
