Week Three - Recipe!

Hello all! I love it when Stephanie asks us to share recipes! It's one of my favorite parts of the challenge! I have a few tried and true so I'll share what comes to mind. You can take or leave it!

Snacks -  2 TBS seeds (I like sunflower) with a piece of fruit. I usually choose an apple or pear.
                Mix 1/4 cup peanut butter with 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt, use as a fruit dip!
               Dice up some fresh tomatoes and pair with low fat cottage cheese, sprinkle pepper on top!
Breakfast - Lately my favorite breakfasts have been a fried egg, with 1/4 avocado with some sort of grain - millet or oatmeal or whole grain toast.

Dinner - my go to dinner is a lean meat (usually fish) with steamed fresh vegies. I usually put on potatoes or rice for my family, but I never have the starch. I fill half my plate with the vegies, then put the meat on there - and I'm stuffed at the end of the meal!

  1. Thanks for the ideas! I never think about cottage cheese, I'm putting it on my shopping list this week!
