Hi, I'm Sam. Last April I had baby #5...woot woot. So now i'm working off the weight I gained from that lovely little girl. I'm a craft-o-holic and love to make things. Several years ago, my craft of choice was FOOD. I was always cooking but even more so I was baking. After my fourth baby, I decided I needed to get healthy and lose the weight i'd gained from each of them. I learned about healthy eating and expanded my crafts to things other than food. It had been a huge help in montioring my health and weight.
In the last few months, I have discovered a real joy in going to our local YMCA every day to workout. It's as good for my mental health as it is for my physical health. I'm excited that this challenge is about more than just weight loss. I love that we are focusing on other healthy habits as well.
